American Psycho
Am i wrong in noticing a very strong influence of Sebastian on American Psycho? I haven't read the book, but it looks to me very borrowed from Sebastian, which is weird... American Psycho was written before this movie?
shareAccording to Amazon, the novel American Psycho was published on 1 March 1991, two years earlier. The film came after this and the style of Jeremy or Sebastian's apartment is very similar to Parrick Bateman's from the latter film - white walls, hardwood floors, black leather couch. Very cold, modern, minimalistic. J/S also looks and acts like a psychopath with very little effort to hide his disgust, hatred and rage at others.
