Examples of video messages intended for post-death display

Just saw this movie for the first time. It got me thinking that there is probably a good history of real-world video/movie messages being intentionally created for viewing after a person's death. ("Hi guys, I'm dead now, but I just wanted to wish you all well and say yada yada...".)

The only one that comes to my mind is that of actor William Talman. Talman played the district attorney in the Perry Mason TV series of the 1960's. He was a lifelong smoker, and he paid for it with his life when he died of lung cancer in 1968. But before his death, Talman made a very moving anti-smoking public service announcement which, in accordance with his wishes, aired for some time after his passing. (And, in my opinion, should still be aired.)

In any case, I'm wondering whether anyone can point to other, similar examples of people making visual or audio recordings of themselves for the purpose of being presented after their departures from this world. Nothing recent, though. (I suspect that, with the prevalence of cheap recording technology, such videos are a dime a dozen these days.) I'm interested in fairly old recordings, ones made when this was a pretty novel concept, and especially ones of notable personalities.

Badgers? We don't need no stinkin' badgers! But if you could show us something in a nice possum…

The only one I can think of is the one made by Yul Brynner. It is on YouTube if you are interested. It was an anti-smoking PSA although at the time it was made I don't think they actually called it that. Hope that helps.

Thanks. That one had skipped my mind, but I do remember it.
