I remember watching this when I was really young. I loved it and watched it over and over, but now that I'm older I "got it" a lot more and it is so funny! The way they act so casual about him coming back from the dead is just hilarious. Some of the nonchalant reactions and lines made me laugh so hard. It's just really witty if you think about it and like that sort of humor.

I agree with you, Jacquelynne. The movie is a gem. It takes after the Princess Bride, another one of my favorites. It tries so hard to be pointess, cliche, even so far as stupid in some parts, but the fact they knew what they were doing made it all the more fun! My Boyfriend's Back has been one of my favorite comedies since I was little. The song "Hanging on for dear life" was also a great touch at the end. This movie ROCKS! "Johnny... you ate Chuck!" "...Not ALL of him!"

when is was 10 my dad rented the movie at a store and he saw it. I didn't get a chance to see it until february of 06. I also agree with you the movie was a hilarous.

I agree, I really enjoy this movie. My family was watching it with me and they were saying stuff like "You actually like this movie?" and "This is ridiculous" Like they didn't know that it was supposed to be a cheesy dark comedy. But I think it's great.
