This movie is a legend - I think there is hardly anyone ranging from 12 to 40 years who hasn't seen it. The actors give brilliant performances and have written Austrian movie history. The only disappointment for all non-Austrians out there might be: It's not translateable! You simply can't make an appropriate dubbing, sorry!

Dieser Film ist eine Legende - Ich glaube, es gibt keinen von 12-40jährigen, der ihn nicht gesehen hat. Die Darsteller geben hervorragende Leistungen und haben damit österreichische Filmgeschihcte geschrieben. Die einzige Enttäuschung für alle NIcht-Österreicher da draußen kann höchstens eines sein: Es nicht übersetzbar! Man kann einfach keine passende Übersetzung machen, leider!

You might want to amend that to hardly any AUSTRIAN between 12 and 40 who hasn't seen this movie!!
Unfortunately, hardly anyone in Germany knows it (don't ask me why, I think it's outstanding, but I guess most Germans just don't dig / get Austrian humour...

hey, I am German and I just LOVE, LOVE this movie. It is hilarious!
The first time I watched it, I didn't know what to do with it, but the more often you watch it the funnier it gets. There are some phrases that found their way from the movie into our daily lives.
Highly recommendable, but people have to be prepared so that they do not expect something "normal" ;-).

I would still like a chance to watch the movie and decide for myself - anyone know of an English subtitle file?
