I just read in the Chicago Tribune that the Laurie Dann shootings were 20 yrs. ago today. I can't believe it's already been that long, but I'm sure for the victims they've suffered each and every day of those 20 yrs. I pray that in that time they have been able to find some healing.
shareWhat is sad to me is not too much has changed in today's world. I found a video news report from 2013 that had an interview with the two adults she took hostage. They were saying gun laws are still lacking and how mentally ill people can still get access to guns. The wife said she is still heart broken over what happened but thankful her, her husband and son survived. They are still fighting to change gun laws.
