The woman in the closing scene

My wife and I watched this the other night and had a disagreement about the woman in the yellow dress we se in the final scene. I said she was the main heroine, but my wife was convinced she was a different woman. at the end of the list of actors there was an unnamed woman, but we obviously weren't sure who was being referenced.

Can anyone help us with this?

I believe it is the heroine who is pregrant. A happy ending.

Yes, it is the heroine. I loved the way we are being told that she indeed is pregnant. A wonderful film

it is her its a time span of her learning to read and falling in love and becoming a parent

Yes is was Mui at the end of the film.

I really wanted to love this movie but for me it started off promising and drifteed - well nowhere to be honest. Shame the style and photography were stunning.

For me it started off good, then went nowhere for the majority and then the last 5 minutes saved it but I don't think I could ever watch it again.

Huh, I thought the last five minutes were the weakest part of the film (though it's still a 9/10 for me).

Maybe I was just glad it was over. Kind of a poor film.
