yeah so kate beckinsale is pretty hot. so thats a plus. but reeves sucks. but denzel is awesome. All of these factors and more make me wonder if this is anygood. Is it worth seeing. Thanks

Well, im studying it for English Literature. We have only just started so i cant say much.
All the girls (apart from me!) are swooning over Reeves! Yuck!

Hahaha yes i watched this movie for my advanced English class when i was in yr 10 and the teacher was discussing how bad she thought Keanu Reeves was in that role and most of the girls just came back with "He's hot, who cares". I'm not really a huge fan of Keanu Reeves and did'nt think he was that great in that role. However, i loved the film, i thought it was well cast and also very well acted by just about all of the cast. Plus it had Robert Sean Leonard so that just made it all the better :) I think if you got a chance you should definatly see this film.

Reading Shakespeare is very tedious, but it is movies like this that make Shakespeare come alive. I thought this movie was perfect.

Here, here! This is an excellent rendition of one of Shakespeares finest. A very enjoyable comedy. Just don't rely on it to pass any exams - it is still an adaptation.

Yea, and you know what? You wont think any differently about any of these ppl if you see it, but its cute. I mean, if you like Shakespeare see it. But i guess its not a must see

I like this film. I saw it to give me the idea of what it was about, because I am going to be in a production of it, and I thought it was great. A good cast and an enjoyable film.

Yeah. My class having been watching the movie and reading the play for the past three weeks and its been really fun. The movie is really funny in parts like some parts with Kenneth Branagh (if thats how you spell his name). We havent finished watching it yet but typical of Shakesphere nothing is done the easy way. Well you can tell it is a comedy anyway although there is one part where Benedick calls himself an oyster, bit strange but... oh and not too long after that there is this silly thing where they do this little strange soppy yet in a way funny thing. Please dont let me have put you off though. You should rent it or borrow it from somebody or if you are in school still, since I have NO IDEA how old or young you are, then ask your english teacher if they have it. Its worth watching yes, and you probably will find it funny if you have the sense of humor between the age of 13 to around 40 because everyone in my class was wathing, even my Engligh teacher so... Well sorry if I went on too long on this and I hope you do read this and then watch it.

this movie was so funny i cried. i was watching it in drama class, as we did a production of it, it is absolutely hilarious, especially about the oyster deal, and when dogberry farts really loudly. i didnt even recognize kate bechinsale though.

YES. Especially if one is watching the film for fun, not educational purposes. It was hilarious!
