In one deleted scene where Gloria Chaney told Mrs. Doubtfire that Daniel cheated on Miranda and beat her and the kids, she was just exaggerating. Daniel never cheated on Miranda or beat her and the kids.

Wow I am going to have to watch the deleted scene again, I don't remember this scene, but maybe it is a good thing that she didn't call her out for the lie.

It could be even through we all know that they can't keep everything into a movie they have to cut certain scenes short or even out altogether.
