So-so Movie

Somebody else said "meh," which pretty much sums it up for me too.

If I never saw this one again that would be fine. I thought the entire story was far-fetched (doubt that a shrink would "fall in love" with her patient that way and jeopardize her career by sleeping with him, and doubt that a family man like that black dude would allow a bona fide screwball around his kids). The beginning of the movie was boring, in fact my mind kept wandering as I was thinking of other things that I needed to be doing!! It finally grabbed me about halfway through, but I found the ending to be disappointing.

The few comedic moments (like the ping-pong match in the nuthouse) featuring the wackos in the loony bin were the redeeming features.

5/10. Not a winner, and certainly not a DVD I would ever rent again or buy.

At the risk of overreacting, what the hell? Being crazy doesn't automatically make you a danger to other people. But I guess it's pointless to compete with popular wisdom and inane media portrayals - the reason I've learned to keep my illness to myself.
