The director should be ashamed of himself. Jill the teenage daughter was more irritating than a stuffy nose. Overall the movie was entertaining, however I felt the need to laugh at inappropriate times because the acting was soooooooo bad.

The directing was awesome,quite realistic,per scene.
Teen-child jill imo was R.O.P. (right on point)
she inwardly blame her own self,for being late messing with the cute BF,at her part time job at the record music store,etc. and she was astute enough to know her mother did blame her too!(without saying so)
DAD,from the inception was extreme-convincing,as a father would be acting just like him,
Mom,BRILLIANTLY,realistically emotional,from start to finish,the ending was incredible.
Annette O'Toole was incredible,as always a great actress in the role she is gien.
Defense lawyer:
IMO was representing her, to the best of her ability,made such an convincing arguement.
She simply SNAPPED.I think all great parents can relate.if i was on the jury i would have said, therapy, and probationary period for 2 or so yrs.
