While the movie is in fact based on a true story, it explains to the audience the background of a stalker and their behavior. It really makes you want to jump into the movie and just pound the *beep* out of Curt Harper - very strange man. And creepy. What makes him so perverted is that when he says "I love you Laurisa!" he probably doesn't even know what love is! He's just a very strange, creepy and horrible monster who seems to have nothing else better to do than stalk a teenage girl who's half his age. Plus, he's just begging to go to jail. Now that's somebody who doesn't have much of a life!
