Fighting over a DRUG DEALER, and then in the end killing a little girl over something someone did to a CAR? (forgive me if I'm a little rusty on details, it's been a while since I've seen this).
No wonder why people like to give people in the 'hood a hard time. They give bad names to the rest of human society.
The fight over the drug dealer was all because he ended up sleeping with 2 best friends who in turn had kids. It's the same as fighting over a boyfriend, drug dealer or not.
And the killing of a little girl was accidental. She meant to shoot Sleepy because they went to River Valley & shot El Duran. He was killed over the truck that they THOUGHT he stole, but didn't.

I think that the OP was just saying that it was stupid that they were fighting over a POS like Ernesto. Being a drug dealer as well just adds to the "what the hell are you fighting over that loser for?" thought that everyone was thinking during the movie.

I hope that you aren't seriously trying to say that there was a good reason(not the little girl's death, just the gang codes) for all of that bullshyt over that tacky ass truck.

Where in my comment does it imply that there was good reason for the shooting? I was simply explaining what happened, not trying to justify it. Personally, I think it IS bullshyt that all of that went down over some stupid truck.

Yeh, vandyvch, people give people in the 'hood a hard time due to movies like this. Before Mi Vida Loca was released, nobody ever ridiculed the hood. You've got it all figured out, Vandy.
