I haven't seen "The Meteor Man" since 1993 and surprisingly I still liked it. I mean, sure it's got it's corny parts and it can come off a tad preachy at times but it's still pretty good. I think it had a positive message.

If Townshend had made this film as a straight superhero movie then it might have come off better than it did.However, he decided to make this a "message" and an "empowerment" film and as such it failed miserably.
It's surprising that w/ as much talent as he had available, that Townshend was unable create a better film than he did.
6/10.
