50 Cent

anyone else notice that, in the music credits, 50 Cent is listed as 50 Cents?

reply

50 cent was like 10 years old when this came out. He was not even close to being famous yet. Idiot.

@MIngr7- I was 13 when this movie came out and I'm 28 now. 50 cent is now 32 years old which means he was around 17 when he did this soundtrack. Anyways, although he wasn't worldwide famous yet, he did have a little local fame in New York about a year later when he re-did Biggie's "Dreams of F#cking An R&B
B!tch" called "How to Rob" which told everyone how he had "Dreams of Robbing An Industry N!gga". I know because I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and I still remember how everybody he named in the song blasted and challenged him on every local hip-hop radio station. However, the song didn't gain national attention until he became more mainstream around 1998...50 Cent: actively
p!ssing people off since at least 1994....LOL!

So what, he still is not in the credits. Big whoop idiot.

Where was 50 cent at in this movie?

reply

I don't think that he appeared in the movie, but his name is listed in the song credits. I don't know what song, and if I had the dvd, I would look it up (it's listed something like Song performed by So-and-So feat blah, blah, 50 cents, blah, blah). It just made me laugh, at the time, and the only reason I saw it was because I had a bet going that Pump up the Jam was, indeed, by Technotronic.

Glad to hear I'm an idiot now.

Will screencap as soon as I can.

JUST watched it. Sorry, but neither 50 Cent nor Curtis Jackson was not on the soundtrack.
The songs listed in the credits are:
Cant let her get away
Somebody cares for you
them their eyes
U turn me on
Good love
it's on
Is it just too much
gotta know (your name)
dont waste my time
move this
I say a prate
too legit to quit
something new
aint nobody bad like meteor man(meteor man theme)
it's for you

That's it. I paused and scrolled through, using up five minutes that I'll never get back so that this thread that's half a year old can be put to rest. 50 Cent was NOT on this soundtrack. I took note of only two 'Jackson's on the soundtrack; Michael Jackson and Rodney K. Jackson.

The short one's gawking at me and the tall one's being very droll.

1st this board/page is created by the fans so someone added his name after realizing he was in it or part of it. If he appeared in it as from what another poster makes it seem then add him to credits. Personally saw a great group of actors in this movie but did not realize 50 cent was a part of it. Was he just one of the kids or was he actually part of Another Bad Creation (the singing group)? I'm not big into rap so really would have prob noticed him until I saw this thread.

To me Roy Fegan was someone I recognize mainly from his other works with Robert (its like the two must have been bestfriends).
