Best Scene in this Movie......

I compliment Robert Townsend on the creative concept of 'The Meteor Man',and the fact that he put his money where his mouth is! After talking so much during his stand up comedy rountine of no 'Black Superheroes',He created a memorable/fun movie about it! From my point of view,My Favorite Best Scene is where he's been drained of his super powers, yet; He goes down to fight Golden Lord Simon to show that there are some things worth fighting for,and that TO PROVE TO HIS FELLOW NEIGHBORS that you can't hide all your life from fear,To me;this was the point he made in the movie when he said [quote]:"To really be a Winner,You gotta lose Something!" This stands out like a beacon in the movie! Point taken,& well said!-Thanks Robert!

It should have been the scene when meteor man and simon are fighting and they both touch a book about modeling.

I love the part when naughty by nature becomes the deus ex machine for the film totally out of nowhere - and make Mr. Byers start screaming - hilarious

OmG! The fighting scene where they picked up that book about modeling was one of the funniest scenes I ever saw in a movie!

Just watched it and had to come in here with my views and while doing so I started reading some of your post and that is so truly best scene. Especially them cat fighting...who does that anymore...hillarious.

That was the funniest scene - where they were doing runway modeling after touching that book.

the best part of the movie was when they rolled the credits

this movie sucked

I saw this on HBO and was thinking that its some serious superhero movie until the meteor showed up to strike the hero. That meteor was ready to change speed and direction at will in order to strike him. Rest of the movie was pretty funny too.

I agree. The modeling scene was the best part of the movie.

The modeling scene was easily the most memorable part of the whole movie. I saw this movie when I was a kid and its stayed in my memory all these years mainly because of the final fight between MM and Simon.

The other scene is where he creates the garden. It was a very touching and memorable scene.

I'm watching the movie right now & I gotta say it's hilarious... It's bad but its still watchable... Because the scene where he busts up the crack spot & blows all the cocaine on every1, getting every1 workin in there high as hell & laughing when their "supervisor" went to check on things... If it were a rated r scene, the workers in there would be dead from overdose lol

Probably when Jeff went on his first adventure as Meteor Man. Taking down crackhouses, stopping theives, and seemingly settling things down between the police and the gangs.
