No way they didnt know Jeff was Meteor Man

I know its suppose to be a fun movie, but it had so many holes in it. When Jeffs friend, played by Eddie Griffin, went to the mall to do an interview as Meteor Man Jeff then flew him out of the mall to save his life from the Golden Lords. When they get to the front of the mall Jeff gets angry with Michael and then proceeds to take his costume off Michael with his powers then fly away with the costume on his arm. It showed everyone walking in and out of the mall, obviously someone saw Jeff float Michael in the air, flipped him over and take his costume off with just his finger, then if they didnt notice that they would of easily seen Jeff fly away. Again I understand its just a movie but from that point it would be obvious who Meteor Man was.
