I do not even remember making that post (2009 was 6 years ago). I think at the time it was being listed as a widescreen release. That meant two things- the film was shot in a true scope or the film was shot full frame open matte (and then matted)
I am perfectly fine with full frame open matte, so it is not a problem. I also think back then there was a chance it was a scope film and the dvd was actually pan/scan, though I threw out that idea and open matte is more than likely it
