Was the music played during the opening credits....

...when the camera is panning aerially over Watts an actual song or was it just music made up for the film? Is it on the film's soundtrack?

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's an instrumental variation of Ice Cube's "Ghetto Bird" off of his Lethal Injection album. QDIII did the beat. The intro song sounds a little different than the album one, but they are basically the same. Unfortunately, it's not on the soundtrack.
