Can someone tell me, is menace II society the spoof of 'dont be a menace to south central...' or the other way round?

"Menace To Society" came out in 1993

"Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood" came out in 1996.

Figure it out...

No you're all wrong, menace to society is the spoof. Just watched I again and there is no way the director intended it to be a serious film.
