Vertigo and the Last Walk-on

Two questions:
1. On a board here, mention is made of the "Vertigo" poster on the bus carrying Mrs. House, adding that there are other references to "Vertigo". Can anybody come up with the other references?

2. The last walk-on fellow just before Larry and Carol enter their building is a man walking almost at the camera and then bypassing it and continuing.
He looks, well, sort of like he was very deliberately put there, just for fun, like maybe he's one of the crew or producers or whatnot. Anybody know if he is significant?

The other similarity with Vertigo is in the revelation of the bodies' switching at the end.

Another similiarity I found is with Rosemary's Baby : the way they meet two friendly neighbors and then they come back from a night out and discover someone died, then the whole suspicious climate, I'm sure it's just a coincidence, but still ...

"Darth Vader is scary and I The Godfather"

I also found some resemblance with "Rosemary's baby", or perhaps it's just the fact that this movie reminded me of the other, for some reason -the location is the same and the surroundings look similar. Plus the Mia Farrow-Woody Allen connection.

We're you able to read the entire word 'vertigo' on the bus?
TCM showed it in Full Screen or open matte and I can only see 'rtigo'. I see a woman's leg with heels going through the letters on the ad.

reply

"Vertigo" is definitely printed in full on the side of the bus.

I've just watched the movie, and it has just ended.

About the Last Walk-on: Hitchcock was famous for having walk-on parts in his own movies, so my impression is that the "last walk-on fellow" who walked right past the camera and kept on going resembled Hitchcock a great deal, and to have him walk right past the camera rather than appear in the background might have been Woody's way of doing a parody (and a very obvious one) of Hitch's penchant for appearing briefly in his own films.
