Was George C Scott (kessler) the defendants witness? Who was Dr Kessler linked to?

George C. Scott was there as a witness for Alec Baldwin, to prove (as an expert witness) what a fine and brilliant doctor Baldwin was.

But it was a setup. Baldwin and Kidman purposely leaked the 'God Complex' memo to Kidman's lawyer, who then confronted Scott with it, setting up the huge settlement that Kidman eventually got.
