didn't it look funny with him carrying the doll out of the prison?

he got through escaping prison with that doll in his hand? looked smooth the way they got out. i was trying to figure out where i recognised one actor from, think it was some episodes of dallas. well i recognised alote of other actors too. it wasn't my kind of movie, but i came across it on showtime - the channel of avarege (or below) american action movies from the 80's and 90's. i didn't see it too throroughly though, maybe it's a good flick and i'll check it out entirely someday.

in the evening when the sun goes down,
looking forward for susan to come around,
but saying what the heck,
susan gone yet another day,
don't nobody in that place,
turn me on like that foxy dame,
but i've been waiting at this hour now for days,
in the evening, but lovely susan still is away,
and everytime she don't show up,
feel like i just dropped down the sewer a bunch of bucks,
that knockout woman gone,
and it's dull and cold,
anything at this womans command,
i'm blue with fantasies canned,
another day and susan still is away,
guess i'll expect you here tomorrow again,
in the evening, when the sun go down.

I found the doll scene rather ridiculous, actually, and I had to play it several times to understand what was going on. Basically the point of the scene was Eric Roberts' fake suicide to distract the guards and get out of jail.

Did you ever see this in full? I can't say I was very impressed, though Eric Roberts has gotten me through many a mediocre film. I thought the action and plot development were pretty mundane. I found this on VHS in the clearance bin of a record store for 75 cents, and that's about what it was worth. This one is 5/10 at best in my book.
