The kids were really good actors!

I'm not afraid to admit it when I see child actors who give poor performances in movies, but the kids who played the two sons in this movie were great! This is considering they had the burdens of nailing down New York accents, sounding and behaving like people out of the 1950's (or was it the 40's? I forget), and delivering witty one-liners. Not to mention they had to act opposite such veteran actors as Richard Dreyfuss and Mercedes Reuhl. I don't know how they did it, but they were able to pull it off.
