They should do a new movie where Mikey, now grown up, gets a girl pregnant in a one night stand. She leaves him with the baby nine months later (voiced by Bruce Willis) and now Mikey has to go through what his mother did when he was born and find love, and a mother for his child, J.J. (named after John Travolta's character from the original trilogy).

I doubt they could get Travolta back for this, but they could throw in a cameo from Kirstie Alley and cast David Gallagher as Mikey, since he played the part in the last movie.

Why don't Kennedy's make good boxers? None of them can take a shot to the head

Not a bad idea at all...but....with the 3rd flick pulling in a less then memorable Box Office (yes, I saw this in theaters back in the '93...in what felt like an empty theater), the series is dead...save for maybe a REMAKE which seems to be more the trend nowadays.

If they were to make Look Who's Talking 4 the dogs would probably be dead depending what year it would come out. Maybe they would get new dogs if that would happen lol.

The funny thing is, I was just thinking about this and had the same idea of Mikey becoming a father.

I kind of wish they would. Would kind of have a "it came full circle" kind of feel to it. The frachise begins with Mikey being born and ends with him becoming a father lol.

I used to say a fourth one could be called Look Who's Talking THis time and feature talking plants.

I think this is a good idea.

I disagree with the post that mentions the success (or failure) of the 3rd film. That was a long time ago and was part of a franchise people were losing interest in.

Bringing an idea back decades later is very different. Nostalgia is a BIG money maker. All the poeple who saw and liked the original LWT would be interested in this idea - moreso than a remake IMO because it's a continuation of the story after a much needed rest.

And Mikey being a single father would be a fresh twist on it.
