question..why was the boy screaming when the oldest sister (chrissy)'s husband keith was taking him out of the bath?..i thought he was the one who had been hurting the children or something...that was very confusing..can anybody clear that up for me??

All the children in the house were being abused in one form or another... The father used it as a way to "punnish" his children when he thought necissary...

when i saw that part i thought the young boy reacted that way because another man was touching him when he was naked, so he thought about his fathers actions and didnt trust this other male touching him.

i saw this film last night on true movies sky channel 333 and one thing that confused me was this scene. Also what about the youngest daughter nini? was she being abused as well? why was she so adamant of her fathers innocence and if the father did also abuse the patrick as well then why not nini?
shareIt's possible that he had not molested Nini, which is why she believed in his innocence. Or, maybe she had repressed it or she was in denial. He may not have gotten around to molesting her yet. (I know that sounds sick, but as the lawyer says toward the end of the film, "That son of a b**** was working his way through the whole family.") Also, the mother also didn't believe that any of it was happening - she totally denied it.

As to the little boy, he had been molested by his father just like Kelly, and her older sister. Nini, was not yet, I think he did not with her because he still was with Kelly. He started in on Kelly just before her older sister moved out and got married. Patrick the little boy was screaming when he was trying to help him because of his father molesting him. When his sister came up stairs after him screaming, it was they say the icing on the cake to see it was happening to him too. At the end of movie when patrick and kelly when on the sofa bed and he said that he hated his dad for doing this to you(kelly) chrissy and me. nothing about nini. As to the mother, she was in denile, b/c she did not want to lose her husband. and if she beleived it wasn't true and the kids were lying, then her perfect little family would still exist. Makes me sick she chose her lying husband over her kids. not right sorry mother.

I just caught this flick on tv last night, so it's fresh in my memory lol.
Patrick screamed because yes, an older man was taking him out of the tub while he was naked. Patrick associated it with what his father was doing, and began screaming when he thought it was about to happen again.
When Kelly and her older sister rush to the bathroom, the boy is standing there covering his front with the towel, and holding his bottom. Both girls notice it right away, and then the oldest panics when she realized her father was still doing it and she left him with her kid.
What confused me at first, was WHY she would let him be alone with her kid in the first place; however, during the scene where she "kicks him out", she screams "you PROMISED!" .... I think when she was his "special angel" (when she still lived home) that he promised her if she didn't tell that he wouldn't do it to any of her siblings.
The boy was also being sexually abused by his father. This explains why he was so afraid of being in the bathroom!
