Comment/Question Spoilers

After going into the real world/Danny's world, Jack finds out he's a fictional character and feels sad about it. But Benedict and the Ripper don't feel bad about it at all. They don't seem to care some jerk wrote them to be villains and psychopaths. They just go, "Hey! We can get away with things here! This is great!" Maybe it's to show Jack actually has a depth as a protagonist and the villains were just written as too evil and sociopathic to even care that they are fictional. What are your thoughts on that?
