DVD release?

Does anyone know if this film was ever released on DVD?
Or if there are any plans to release it?

I own a copy on VHS, but I would like to replace all my old VHS tapes with DVDs.

No, not yet, as far as I know. I want it to be released on DVD soon, too.

It's a shame it hasn't been.

I wonder what film company owns the rights to it; they should definitely consider releasing it as a D.V.D. or selling the rights to a company who will.
