Husband killing estranged wife that happened in real life on TELEMUNDO

Latino americans who are of age probably remember this more than anyone else on Earth, but back in 1992(?) there was a true life story that even made headlines on network news where a tabloid oriented show "Ocurrio Asi" on the U.S. Spanish television network Telemundo was telling the story of a teenage girl who got pregnant and was kicked out of her house by her religious mother, only to commit suicide. So then the report was interviewing the mother at her grave site and suddenly on camera, her estranged husband came back and shot her in the head on camera!

Almodovar was obviously referring to this television extravaganza in this movie, but I can't seem to find the clip on Youtube of the real one that happened on Telemundo!

You can see the clip on ebaumsworld. I'm watching the movie right now and was shocked when that scene came on! For a second, I thought it was the actual clip, but I quickly realized it wasn't. Considering the movie came out the same year that this happened (1993), I can't help thinking it's slightly tasteless on Almodovar's part, but good taste never got anyone anywhere. ;)
