I remember back in 93 when my buddy sat me down to watch this one...

Afterwards, he pointed out to me how similar the 3 main friends (Estevez, Gooding
and Piven) were to our own set of 3 Musketeers, and it's so true!..

Though i always secretly disagreed with his assessment, slightly.. He claimed
he was the Estevez character and I was the Gooding character..

Deep down, i knew i was actually the Estevez character (cause he would totally
be the one to break down like Gooding did :P)..

We did both agree that our buddy was Piven. And probably would wind up dead.

At any rate, one of those special movies that will always hold a place in
my heart because of how it ties me back to my boyhood.

That's pretty cool. Funny my friends and I related more with Leary's crew. My best friend was Denis Leary, my other was Peter Greene and I was Everlast. The geezer with the long hair was left out but he sucked anyway. I love this movie!
