what exact neighborhood did they get stranded in?

just wondering- it's never explicitly stated, or it is very briefly passed over.

I'm presuming the neighborhood was the recently renovated Cabrini Green housing project....at the time it was by far the worst area on Chicago's North Side- it's stated several times that Frank is from the wealthy north shore suburbs, and he says as an aside to Ray at one point, "bet we haven't been 10 miles from your house this whole night."

Could also have been Bronzeville, which would explain the Irish drug dealers.

It seemed like Fallon and his crew weren't from that area. For all we know, they probably took Teddy out there to execute him, like how in Trespass when King James and the rest of his crew executed that one guy from their crew in the area of that abandoned factory.

That was my take on it too. They chased the kid into the neighbourhood. In fact except for Fallon and Frank's groups every other person in the neighbourhood was black.
