Anyone know sign language?
I'm curious as to what Josh signed to the sheriff.. Or if it was just 'gibberish'?
shareAlmost all of it was gibberish (with a few bits and pieces of signs that almost made sense) - a deaf person would have likely not understood a word he was signing...
FYI - the film was made 3 years after the ADA bill was signed...
Today, TDD machines have mostly been replaced by other high-tech means of communication - my late roommate of the early 90's (totally deaf) found his TDD machine to be his most-used piece of equipment...

Interesting to know.. I've tried a couple times to teach myself ASL but never get very far. I know some basic signs but that's it.. I learned Spanish with Rosetta Stone, but they don't have an ASL program.
