Steven Freeman is a badass

Steven is quite impressive holding his own against Jason Voorhees, who is in one of his most powerful forms in this movie. He gets some decent, and somewhat effective hits against Jason, and survives. Jason plays with Steven a little, though he doesn't expect him to put up a fight. Steven is probably the most badass protagonist in the series, even more so than Tommy Jarvis, who dies at the end of Jason Lives and has to be resuscitated by Megan. The only other badass that is almost equal to Steven is Brodski from Jason X.

After Tommy Jarvis, the best male lead of the series.

Steven Freeman is a more stable version of Tommy Jarvis. They're both badass though.

Yes, Steven was cool, he put up a good fight against Jason

Julius was the one the poster above me mentioned, from JGTM. Ya, he was brave as well, but foolish for telling Jason to take his best shot. If it came to family or a woman I was in love with, I'd be giving Jason the best fight I could manage. Steven was the man. He and Creighton Duke stole the show.

Agreed, Steven is a badass. I like when he says to Randy, *beep* That
I Got a Gun!" and yells, "Get Away from them *beep* to Jason.

He got toughened up all those years hunting Devil-cursed objects on "Friday the 13th: The Series", LOL.

So true. I loved John D. Lemay as Ryan Dallion on Friday the 13th: The Series. And I loved him in this movie.

Steven was definitely badass. He's probably one of my favorite Friday characters in general, actually. Interesting, original, tough, and likeable
