Comedy?

on T.v it said "comedy". how is this film a comedy. the mom dies and the kid get kid napped by a freak. its a really good movies but its a drama.

Definitely NOT a comedy, This movie is sad with a capital "S". Love it though!

It was listed on my TV as comedy and well, and I was watching this I remember thinking 'My God, this has got to be the list funny movie I`ve seen in my life.' But at the same time, it was amazing. I loved it.

I think Miko(sp?) Hughes is the cutest little boy ever, and when he started crying to Jack after he put him near the dogs was one of the most heart-breaking things I`ve ever seen. Just because.

I saw this movie a couple of years ago and I remember there being some comedy in the movie.But yeah its mostly a drama.

I rented it from Block Buster several ears ago and it quickly became one of my all time favorite movies (not top 10, but absolutely between 15 and 20) and it was listed under drama back then. I'll have to go look again but I also just re-watched it on TV and Movie Plex listed it as a drama too.

Watching it on tv and it says Drama. Definitely NOT a comedy! Very good movie though!!

I guess they said comedy because Danny DeVito's in it.

NetFlix has it listed as a tearjerker. Which I agree with. That and suspense or drama. But the only way it's a comedy is by how Danny Devito is with his kids some but it's in no way a comedy.

It got listed as comedy thriller. By thriller, I thought a similar tone to Goonies.
