i remember in this movie I think ( I really am not sure) the boys were up on stage lip singing an oldie and they were using bananas as mikes. which song was it.

whoever wrote the song never saw it.

because I think that just about any musician would kill them selves after seeing a bunch of jerks pretending to sing into banannas.

Um, I guess you don't remember the movie. There is no part in it where boys sing into bananas.

And the term is "lip-syncing", as in moving the lips in synchronization with recorded speech or song.
