The ONLY good 'camp' movie ever made?!

To make a long story short... I spent a lot of years at summer camp during my childhood. And from the perspective of somebody who understands the general spectrum of what summer camp traditionally has to offer... This is literally, the ONLY good summer camp movie ever made! And I find that mind blowing! I mean, fond memories of summer camp is something that probably a good fifty percent of the population can relate to! And only one film has capitalized on that??? I think I'm going to write a "true to life" summer camp screenplay. And just for the record... For those of you who enjoyed Indian Summer... Look up an episode of "The Wonder Years" on Youtube called "Summer Song". It's beautiful. Trust me.

I have to agree, as far as really bringing back the golden memories of those long ago summers, there really is only one film that delivers.

I also have the wonder years series and you are right, the "Summer Song" episode was wonderful and took me back as if I had been there myself.

What about Friday the 13th?

Yeah, "Friday the 13th" did weave a bittersweet tale of coming to grips with one's mortality, but I just don't think it was heartwarming enough to be included.

What about "Race For Your Life, Charlie Brown"?
