does anyone know if there is a region 2 dvd with english subtitles available? i cant seem to track one down! thanks.

That does not answer the question asked by the original poster.

In other words, this film is in German. Are there any releases with English sub-titles?

Having a region-free DVD player DOES NOT answer the original question!!!!

Locked my wire coat-hanger in the car - good thing that I always carry spare keys in my pocket :)
