Similar to "The Dark Knight"?

Just watched it yesterday on tv and couldnt stop thinking about how similar it is to "The Dark Knight". Am i the only one who see the connections? Mainly Clints character and Bruce and John Malkovich and the joker.

Sorry for the crappy english. Any Toughts?
