What should have happened to Esteban García?

I just recently watched the film on Netflix streaming and I though the film was ok in my opinion. There were certain scenes/issues that turn me off for a high recommendation. Among them is the character Esteban García, bastard son of Esteban Trueba. I hated his character for trying to sexual abuse Blanca as a young girl and eventually abusing her as a adult. I just wished that his father knew about it and just kill him off!!!!! In your opinion, what should have happened to Esteban Garcia?
