Where to Find?
I remember watching this on TV when I was a kid (around the time it came out) and have been wanting to watch it again ever since.
Does anyone know of where to find it online to watch? I tried Youtube but couldn't find anything.
I have seen it available on eBay.com occasionally, but, it cost more than I was willing to pay. I believe those copies were from a former movie rental chain, and not originally released for retail public sale. When that chain cleared out older titles, their "former rental" copies went into the clearance bins.
A number of very hard to find movies on VHS, DVD, and yes, even laserdiscs were sold in the USA that way. (That *might be* true of Blu-Rays too, but I had very little interest in those at the time...)
I still miss those clearance sales... **sigh**
On the more positive side of things, there are multiple new(er) releasing houses bringing out older titles on Blu-Rays, some in quantities for more typical retail sales, some in limited releases with as few as 3,000 copies available. One such title is the Julie Andrews movie, HAWAII, that contains the theatrical release in high-def, and the original road show version, (with its road show music for the breaks), in DVD resolution, both on the Blu-Ray media.
Only a few titles, that I have noticed, might be similar in popularity and genre to this movie, so it could be years still before this title has a chance, but there may be "a chance".
