Looking at the vote history I was surprised to see more Males (3x) than Females voted for this movie - though Females liked it significantly more.

Being a Madsen fan I recorded it off of Lifetime Movie Network... what's this movie doing on there (I asked myself) and soon found out. Struggling actress takes a housesitting job and finds herself caught up in criminal intrigue and a steamy romance with a bad-boy... oh please.

Apart from the weak plot - and atrocious writing - it was interesting in parts... but more so caught my attention with the laugh out loud horrible scenes I found myself watching (I mean how many times can you shoot Jeffrey Tambor in the butt!?).

For fans of really bad movies that you can laugh at... here's a good one. For anyone else, stay far, far away.

But Michael Madsen is so freakin' hot in this movie, I don't care about the plot.

Especially the greenhouse scene with him hot and shirtless and not to mention wet and that tattoo of his.

Makes it worth the watch even if the plot is bad.

No, it's not awful. It's a low budget, amateurish, but great thriller x romance mix.
And as the people above me commented, Michael was even more amazing than usual in this movie.

This movie is stupid. She had plenty of chances to do something to him, and why didn't she scream when she was outside?

She loved the thrill and i agree with OP - this movie is Awful! A load of rubbish... predictable from the very beginning and boring. Wouldn't take much talent to write a movie like this.

Typical early-90s straight-to-video crap. A waste of two good performers (and performances) who deserve much better.
