Sequel is coming to Disney+

If Midler, Parker, and Najimy return I wonder if there'll be misguided people claiming the film is discriminatory for using semitic actresses as witches.

They clearly chose those women for their abilities to portray the characters and probably because they have noses that are a bit larger than average. They could have found actresses of European descent with equally large noses, but that wasn't the case.

If they recast, or have entirely new characters in this movie, I'm fairly certain they'll avoid the potential controversy by either casting women with small noses and use prosthetics to enlarge them. Or they'll cast women with average sized noses and do their best to keep the audience from thinking about it.
