A few questions... *spoilers*

1) At the end of the film, when Thackery is a ghost, he seems to realize the curse has been lifted and his soul set free due the witches being dead.

Why, then, didn't he realize the sisters weren't dead after Max and the others torched them in kiln at school? He was still a cat. So he should've known that he hadn't been set free, and the witches were not dead. Unless, the only reason he was set free at the end was because his cat body happened to die right at the same time the witches did.

2) Billy seems to be legitimately trying to catch the kids through a good portion of the film. He is seen following them through the sewers, etc. Then, out of nowhere, toward the end of the movie he grabs Max only for his knife and cuts the threads holding his lips together so that he can call off to Winnie. So, was he ever actually after them? If not, why was he chasing them? He couldn't have known Max had a knife for his threads....

3) Does the number of children's life forces equate the length of the time that the sisters will get to live? In other words, would they have to continuously keep sucking the life force from children in order to stay alive?

1.) Maybe it was something he just realized after he died. Like, he only realized that because he died that time, the second time, that the reason he died was cause the curse was broken, unlike when the witched were in the kiln. Does that make sense?

2.) I'm as baffled by that one as you. I don't know why he was chasing them if he wasn't actually after them. Maybe he was actually legit after them and then rethought going after them cause he hated Winnie.

3.) That's what I figured. To stay alive they had to keep sucking the lives out of children.

Once upon a time there was a magical place where it never rained. The end.

It's a red herring for viewers to think there were more dangers to the kids than just the three witches. Billy was chasing them because he wanted to protect them from the witches, but we didn't know that until he was finally able to speak and make his intentions known.

This is why we should never assume a zombie is bad just by their appearance!!

Anyway, what I don't get is why Binks got to have his soul freed to enter heaven, yet Billy's reward is having to resume his dirt nap...

Is very bad to steal Jobu's rum. Is very bad.

He was dying again like Binx. We didn't see it, but he probably went too.
