Original 20 minute intro

I've just watched the original intro to the film, this released with the blu ray edition. It's quite slow and I can understand why it was cut from the film, but it is more powerful and instills rage in you at how the peasants were treated b the French. If there was more emphasis on the French presence in the theatrical cut it would give the viewer abit more understanding why villagers supported the NLF. You have the French butchery then after that the strategic hamlets, moving villagers away from where they've been living for generations, no wonder they were pissed off.
