Hey guys,

I watched this movie last night and I liked it.

It is not very very good but quite good IMO.

The acting is good but most characters are so dumb/silly & vulgare middle class people that sometime we feel like they are late, not in the flow.

The athmosphere is cool and creepy, rainy and very early 90's! Helen Mirren did a very good job with a screenplay that is quite good but not amazing. The mise en scène is good, sometime messy but it works.

I had to buy a VHS because it is not on DVD. The VHS was good, the image was okay and the sound very good. Watching a movie from 1993 on VHS made me feel back in the.... 90's :-p

Only thing I'm not sure I understood : When Helen's character goes to the car crush place, she shows a card to a man working there like she's police, right ? She's no police, so what did she show him? Anyway..

Next time I visit Bristol I'll have places we see in the movie to check ;-)
