Oh yes the surreal Clooney brief cameo. I first watched this film in the mid 90s. Miguel Ferrer delivers an excellent performance as screenwriter Charlie Pope!

Just seen this film on DVD after seeing it ten years ago on VHS, and I must have been stoned back then because this film *beep* sucks!

It's a cool film. Good plot, good acting.
Nice thriller.

I agree with the OP - a superior and unique film, good script, great acting. I don’t understand the low rating. There is a DVD version of this, often in discount bins; I would suggest picking one up if you come across it. I don’t know if someone mentioned it, but Miguel Ferrer married his co-star shortly after making this film. I have no idea if they’re still together. My favorite supporting character is the Owner/Manager of the apartment building where Miguel’s character stays. His rap on conspiracy theories is a classic scene.
