How was Snipes lying to his brother??

Were these writers doing herion also? Snipes couldnt have made it any clearer that he wanted out and he told his brother this at the table in the restraunt. 10 minute scene of him telling him he is leaving. Then his bro also tells him "ya go away for awhile, take a vacation". So when she she said "lets go" that could have been, her just sayin. Lets go on our vacation. Good god what a terrible ending! Seen many times, but just relized how bad that scene was. "You lied to me" huh??? Snipes told him he wanted out. How in the hell was he lying and like i said also. His bro knew was goin on a vacation also. So either way, that scene made NO SENSE AT ALL! Guess you could say his bro was whacked out of his mind? But then i guess you could say that for every character that actor has ever played. Good actor, but easy to play a drug addict, when you are one, i suppose.

Romello did not lie to his brother. That was just RayNathan's interpretation of what Romello said. Raynathan was in severe denial. He couldn't fathom that his brother was leaving him. He said 'You lied to me' because he assumed that if he 'fixed' all of the issues they were dealing with that Romello would stay, yet Romello still wanted to leave, so this confused Raynathan. It was a great scene when you factor in what was going on in Raynathan's mind.
