for anyone who saw this in theaters

Im certain this trailer came out before this movie but i saw it before various movies afterwards for like the next year. it looked like a coming of age drama/comedy

The Trailer was narrated by the older version of a 12 year old and he was talking about his neighborhood and some "cool" guy drives up and the kids sister climbs out of her window and hops in the cool guys convertible and as tehy drive away the title appears.

Does anyone know what movie this is or if it was ever released. what was it called?
