A horror movie?!

The Saturn Awards use a broad definition of horror. They include any films that include something horrific and, in the case of Hard Target, the horrific thing is obviously wealthy people hunting the poor for sport. Look at some of the films they've included in the past few years: Argo, The Impossible, Seven Psychopaths, The Grey, Contagion, Kick Ass, and The American.

Sam Raimi's association with the movie may have coloured some people's views.
