Determining who will play who no longer matters. Live action movie has been altogether scrapped by Cameron, and there is no one interested in picking the concept up without both a script and the funds to shoot it.

It have "Pre-production" status, and it's been updated on 20 February 2009. So everything is OK, as I see it.

that didnt really say hes not doing it, it just say he working on avatar and the dive. with a movie like avatar, i doubt he had time to do any update on any future planning, release on The Dive is just as minimum as battle angel. i say theres still hope. and with the "smaller" movie, comon! after a 300m (avatar) dollars film budget, transformer 2 seem like a "small" movie (180m)
