According to it, the character of Gally will be done as a CGI (a la Gollum). They're probably gonna motion-capture an actress going through the motions. I wonder who's gonna do the voice?

I've noticed from your other posts that you are pretty skeptical towards CG so this may come as a disappointment to you, but the idea will be Gally being photorealistic, based on a real person's face. Several of the other cyborg characters will probably be CG as well. The idea is that she will fit into the live action environment seamlessly so when the outrageous action takes place -- action which no human being is capable of doing -- it will hopefully be believable. It will certainly depend on each viewer's level of acceptance for CG whether or not it will succeed. I found Gollum to be remarkable the way he fit perfectly into the film during the vast majority of his shots. It was groundbreaking. You perhaps weren't so happy with the results and even two years from now with whatever technological advancement they will have achieved, you still may find yourself rejecting it. That would be unfortunate, but it's either that or much less frenetic, toned down Gally battles.

That's perfectly fine by me as I don't think there is any actress who can capture her 100%. CG would be the way to go....I only hope that she is called "Gally" and not Alita.
